POSITION OVERVIEW: Wealthcare Capital Management LLC, an innovative wealth advisory and technology company, is seeking a proven Project Manager talent, with experience working in a fast-paced, leading-edge technology environment. This candidate will work with the senior management team and all divisions to manage delivery of the Firm's growth objectives. Financial services and 3rd party systems integration experience preferred.

LOCATION: This new position is based in the Company's headquarters in Richmond, Virginia.

COMPENSATION: This new position will receive a competitive compensation package tailored to the candidate's experience level including a base salary, comprehensive benefits, and the potential for a bonus incentive.

REPORTING: This new position will report jointly to the COO and CTO. Primary Duties:

  • Responsible for managing quality projects throughout the project lifecycle with coordination maintained across multiple departments and functions. Duties include process re-engineering and integration of 3rd party technology platform, definition of process flow for CRM system, design and coding of Web 2.0 client website.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and timelines, as well as scheduling of resources.
  • Ensure project costs, schedules and scope are managed and adhered to, within management budgets, including the development of disaster recovery plans.
  • Managing project action items, risks, issues and all project deliverables through all phases of deployment
  • Managing cross department interfaces
  • Generating agendas, minutes, facilitating meetings, and driving projects through all phases from conception to deployment.
  • Interface with external and internal stakeholders to coordinate project requirements.
  • Primary communicator with the sponsor and key stakeholders on project issues, including executive level and interdepartmental presentations.
  • Ensures a good working relationship between the project team, line managers, and interfacing organizations.
  • Ensures project team members understand their respective responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 4+ years project management experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience managing a team of people outside of direct reporting lines
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially MS project

  • PMP certification

INTERNSHIP - ADVISER SERVICES

POSITION OVERVIEW: Wealthcare Capital Management LLC is seeking an immediate part time candidate to collaborate with our Financial Planning and Portfolio Operations groups, with potential for a future full time position. Our firm values smart, confident, multi-skilled associates with a passion for excellence, strong collaboration, communication and interpersonal abilities, and a proactive, positive attitude. As our company provides a broad range of services to investment advisors and their clients, the Adviser Services Intern will gain diverse skills and experience in financial planning, investment advising and portfolio management with opportunity for growth within the company.

COMPENSATION: This new position will receive a competitive hourly rate of pay, based upon level of experience.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Preparing and managing client agreements and account set up and maintenance documents in coordination with financial advisers
  • Reconciling portfolio accounting system to custodial records
  • Supporting advisers by obtaining resolution to client inquiries
  • Reviewing trade executions to confirm accuracy
  • Supporting data creation and report production for portfolio performance reporting
  • Coordinating between Planning, Trading & Billing areas on client cash activities, account openings and closings, changes to clients' continuously advised personal Wealthcare plan, and the ongoing alignment of the client investment portfolio with the client investment policy.
  • Assist in creating various internal reports for management & various required compliance reports
  • Coordinating the on-boarding of new advisers to the Company.
From time to time there will be other responsibilities.
  • Review & testing of our proprietary and non-proprietary technology applications, internal sub-systems and web-based planning systems.
  • Contribution to work flow efficiency enhancement initiatives
  • Occasional special projects.

The Portfolio Operations and Planning areas often have cyclical workloads that will determine which tasks will be primary activities for a given day, or series of days. Once fully trained, assignment to work in any of the areas described is possible.

REQUIREMENTS: Candidate is ideally a full time senior student, who anticipates graduating in May 2014, and desires to stay in Richmond after graduation. Candidate should have some familiarity with various types of investment securities and markets. Great attention to detail and solid math and Excel skills are required. We work in a team environment where skill, flexibility and aptitude to cross-train with other areas of the firm is highly valued. If no longer an undergraduate student, a bachelors degree with a concentration in Finance or Financial Planning a preferred. Within a reasonable period of being hired, the candidate must pass the Series 65 exam. Preferred availability for this position is two full days a week.


MARKETING GRAPHICS DESIGN & CONTENT CREATION SPECIALIST

POSITION OVERVIEW: The new Marketing Graphics Design & Content Creation Specialist will be part of a growing team responsible for brand marketing & PR, digital UI/UX design, direct & digital marketing, sales & advisor support, and product & business development for the firm's award-winning Financeware goals-based financial planning SaaS software for the wealth management industry. This new position brings creative out-of-the-box thinking and tech savvy expertise in-house for the first time to focus on a major planned design and content transformation throughout the firm to deliver highly visual & stylistic design innovations and rich, intuitive user experiences. Key opportunities include: new brand look & feel guidelines (colors, logos, selling lines, email signatures, business cards, letterhead, presentation templates, event booths and videos), new websites, new mobile apps, expanded social media, new software product presentation layer designs, and new interactive digital videos for sales showcase demos, onboarding new advisors, and webinar education.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience leveraging leading-edge UI/UX graphics design techniques and innovative content creations that intrusively break through the clutter and noise, build a differentiated brand image, and deliver rich and intuitive user experiences. POSITION OVERVIEW: The new Financeware Marketing, Sales & Service Specialist will be part of a team responsible for marketing, selling and servicing Wealthcare's Financeware financial planning software solutions business for financial advisors, featuring the patented Comfort Zone® methodology. Initial focus will be on servicing current advisor clients, developing digital self-service & education features, creating differentiated marketing & communications, managing lead generation analytics, and selling software licenses to advisor prospects. Later focus will be to encourage Financeware onboarding, engagement, loyalty and referrals leading to opportunities to up-sell advisor clients to Wealthcare's RIA turnkey asset management outsourcing practice.
